Our multi-sensory educational resource programme is aligned to the academic year and runs throughout Nursery, Reception and Key Stage One. We have become a valuable resource in primary schools with our bespoke programme which is delivered by our teachers on the school site.
The classes provide the children with dedicated time and space to explore a world where the learning is fun, through literacy, music and physical movement. For some children it is their first experience of learning the essentials of relaxation and well-being and an introduction to mindfulness.
The cornerstones of our in-education lessons are communication, personal, emotional, social and physical development. We work in schools to provide our programme in a flexible way:
- classes for Nursery, Reception, and KS1
- small nurture groups
- extra-curricular clubs
- workshops for Healthy Eating Week, Festivals and Celebrations or as part of a themed topic week
Our curriculum was written with Educationalist Philip Davis. He partners with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority to enhance learning. It’s ground breaking work, the enhancement on creativity is much acclaimed.
Yoga is ‘holistic’ – meaning it looks at the health of the ‘whole’ child. Children are natural yogi’s, and what we do at Children Inspired by yoga is take this raw material, nurturing and inspiring life skills such as relaxation and the joy of movement. Equipping children for pressures of life in and out of school.
