our classes help children age 0-7 to be bendy, giggly, clever and strong:
bendy - develops flexibility through yoga
giggly - enhances creativity with multi-sensory stories and original music
clever - aids development with early years curriculum links
strong - promotes wellbeing and relaxation
Alisha is a natural when it comes to building relationships and working creatively with children. She is a champion on the benefits of yoga and mindfulness and knows the positive impact of our classes on children.
As the Wolverhampton Tatty Bumpkin owner and teacher, Parminder is passionate about child development. She is a mum of two young children and believes that practising yoga and mindfulness is such a powerful way of gaining a healthy mind and body in the busy world we live in.
"My class really look forward to their Tatty Bumpkin time every week. The classes are tailored to each individual's needs. It is lovely to see the children practise and make progress with those really vital skills of balance and coordination, carefully inter-twined with mindfulness and with a big sprinkling of fun!"
Kate, nursery manager
"Tatty Bumpkin has been an excellent experience for my son. As he is autistic, the sensory approach of Tatty Bumpkin is invaluable in lowering his anxiety which enables him to fully participate and enjoy his learning. The story-based structure is really accessible and the fact that the facilitators are qualified Early Years Teachers is a huge positive. Highly recommended!"
