giggly - enhances creativity with multi-sensory stories and original music
clever - aids development with early years curriculum links
strong - promotes wellbeing and relaxation
Our Children Inspired by Yoga classes are multi-sensory, yoga inspired activity sessions, which encourage movement and enhance development through music and magical storytelling. the classes contribute to improving creativity and increasing physical confidence, combining physical activity with breathing and relaxation. All this in a supporting, non-competitive and most importantly, fun environment!
The sessions are available for pre-school babies and children in private classes, nurseries, pre-schools, playgroups and children’s centres. For older children, we provide yoga sessions in schools as curriculum enrichment, lunchtime or after school clubs, Healthy Eating and Wellbeing weeks, as PPA cover and as part of the PE curriculum.
We are also available for parties, holiday clubs, at festivals and fetes, weddings and any other social gathering where you’d like the children to be entertained!

I am the owner of Children Inspired by Yoga in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area.
After nearly 20 years in the corporate world, the additional challenge of being a mum proved that the two worlds weren’t as compatible as I’d hoped. After being made redundant I found the Bendy, Giggly World of Tatty Bumpkin and am so pleased to be able to bring the amazing programme to families, nurseries and schools in the area.
Stephanie started with us in 2016 after wanting to escape a corporate working life and to do something more meaningful and fulfilling. Upon hearing about Tatty Bumpkin classes, she was immediately captivated by the ethos, the fun and the flexibility of working with our team, allowing her to still spend quality time with her young family. In addition to being trained to teach Baby Bumpkin and Tatty Bumpkin classes, she is also a qualified adult yoga teacher
Laurie has worked in childcare settings as well as teaching dance and swimming to babies and children. Her classes are energetic and fun as she uses her creative style to bring out the children’s imagination and enthusiasm. She has also worked with children with additional needs.
Sylvie LOVES Tatty Bumpkin, it's the highlight of her week in nursery and she talks about it all the time and regularly gives demonstrations.

Hilary has run a few Tatty Bumpkin session at our pre-school and they have been wonderful. The children have fully engaged with the sessions throughout. The story Hilary tells during the session, for our school leavers, is both entertaining and poignant. Highly recommended.

The children have loved every session with Hilary & Tatty - they're excited by all the wonderful props & the imaginary adventures they go on together. Our children have progressed immensely as it supports their development across so many areas of the EYFS. Thank you!

Hilary is brilliant with the story-telling and keeping my son's attention. He really looks forward to the class and loves to practise the yoga moves at home. I would definitely recommend this class.
Mum of 4-year old Freddie
I wanted an activity where my daughter was encouraged to explore and have fun without having to be still and stay on my lap the entire class. It has really helped her develop her core strength and has made her bolder in her personality... Plus she just adores Tatty Bumpkin and all her animal friends!! We couldn't recommend this class enough - WE LOVE IT!
Mum of 1 year old Annabel
“Tatty Bumpkin focuses on what’s really important for young children’s learning - first-hand experience, movement, music, stories, real - life interaction and free-flow play! The most important lessons in life are caught, not taught -- and Tatty Bumpkin will help you help your children ‘catch’ them... and have lots of fun along the way."
