Family yoga sessions
At the moment, we are not running monthly family yoga sessions. However, we offer private one-to-one yoga sessions and these are bespoke to the child needs.
As a small business, we have made a decision to focus our work on providing yoga sessions and tailored programmes aligned to the curriculum in local nurseries and schools. These sessions are only open to children attending the specific settings in question. A list of sessions run in local nurseries, pre-schools and schools is available here.
Our Family classes are based on our core Rainbow programme and include a ‘pose of the week’.
They are fun, yoga-inspired sessions designed to encourage phyical movement and mental wellbeing. We guide parents, carers and children through creative and engaging routines. Concentration, emotional and physical confidence flourish as strength, balance and co-ordination skills grow.
Our sessions generally follow a theme and we use simple yoga moves to give families a creative, well rounded session. This is a fun class designed for children and parents to practice together, including individual postures, lots of stretching and relaxation.
Family classes are open to nursery, pre-school and primary school children (2-11 years) with older siblings welcome to join on request.
Parents and carers are actively encouraged to join in the class as this helps give the children confidence to try new things and join in with the adventure.
