our classes help children age 0-7 to be bendy, giggly, clever and strong:
bendy - develops flexibility through yoga
giggly - enhances creativity with multi-sensory stories and original music
clever - aids development with early years curriculum links
strong - promotes wellbeing and relaxation
I own Children Inspired By Yoga in the Plymouth area, I am fully qualified to teach Tatty Bumpkin and Baby Bumpkin classes.
There are so many benefits for your child – including developing physical skills and confidence, communication and social skills, listening and concentration and learning how to relax.
Classes are multi sensory, yoga inspired activity sessions which encourage movement and aid development through storytelling and music.
We also incorporate breathing exercises – and every class ends with relaxation (for parents too!)
We also run Baby Bumpkin classes for the under twos. These are lovely, relaxed sessions, with lots of gentle stretches and are a fantastic bonding experience for mum and baby.
We spend our days in nurseries, schools, children’s centres and pre schools. We can provide regular or one-off sessions, PPA cover, lunchtime or after-school clubs – or even birthday parties. Please contact me if you would like to find out more.
Our team of teachers are all qualified to teach the programme and we are proud that our training courses are accredited by Yoga Alliance UK and CACHE [Council for Awards in Children’s Care, Health & Education] We also all hold DBS checks, are fully insured

Hi! I wanted to let you know how very much Owen and I have enjoyed Baby Bumpkin. The stories, actions and songs are original and inventive and they have given me lots of ideas for chatting and playing with Owen. We are looking forward to the next stage of classes and can't wait to see what new ideas you will have. Many thanks for making the classes so relaxed and enjoyable.

Marika and I really enjoy Baby Bumpkin yoga! It's a great way to meet new people and for baby and mum to interact with each other in a calm comfy environment whilst also getting you out of the house. I particularly like the use of natural objects, toys and the lively and relaxing music to give yoga stretching an extra dimension. Marie is a great teacher and always makes us feel welcome. We will be back for more.

Ahh... it was amazing Emma did a fantastic job keeping the different age group entertained, she made a little seahorse just like master splash and included sand, water and balloon fun!! We had to search the ocean for the magic jewell, the children loved it. Emma put so much effort into it and the feedback from friends and family was that it was a great finale to a lovely day.

We have been delighted at the response from parents - and the children just love the approach. It helps us as staff team too, because all the activities are closely linked to the aims of the Early Years curriculum and the children get a certificate to show what they have been doing during the term. It's quite unique and I would recommend it to other early years settings too.

Have just had a Tatty Bumpkin party for my son's third birthday party and it was brilliant. Marie contacted me in advance and I was able to chose the theme (dinosaurs!) which suited my son. How the other mums commented how relax the party was and how much more enjoyable for them as the children were so well occupied. After the one hour session all the children sat up for a buffet lunch and all behaved amazingly well - even my own!!! I definitely would use them again.

As for feedback I don't think you could get any better than our children asking every day if Tatty Bumpkin is coming in! They really enjoy it.
