Our multi-sensory educational resource programme runs throughout Nurseries, Reception, Primary Key Stage 1 and 2. The bespoke programme is delivered by our teachers on site. It’s tailored to the ages, stages and needs of the children. It’s an essential resource for pupils and teachers alike.
The programme has been carefully created and developed by our team of paediatric physiotherapists, yoga-teachers, musicians and educationalists. It’s fully aligned to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Our experienced teachers are certified first aiders, fully insured and have DBS certification.
Our programmes are well respected in the education profession. For some children it’s their first experience of learning the essentials of relaxation and well-being. The classes provide children with dedicated time and space to explore a world where the learning is fun – it’s non competitive and inclusive.
Each week new developmental areas are explored. Music and story telling take children on a magical journey. Physical movement and attention skills thrive in the multi-sensory classes. Attention skills grow, social confidence flourishes.
“I absolutely adored your course and have been inspired so much by it. It brings teaching alive, and can be used in so many different ways in order to deliver many aspects of the EYFS, some of my children sometimes ask if I was born in The Giggle Tree!”
We provide engaging and fun classes in Nurseries that are fully aligned the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. The young children love the engaging, animated classes that are rich in colour, characters, music, movement and story telling. Tatty Bumpkin, the lovable bendy rag doll brings everything to life with her animal friends guiding them on adventures that explore movement and relaxation.
The Children Inspired by Yoga classes provide Nursery Staff with a unique opportunity to observe and monitor the development of their children. We provide lesson plans, posters and support materials to enhance the benefits of our sessions.
We love hearing stories of Tatty Bumpkin being welcomed back each week by the children. She’s been known to have a peg for her in the cloakroom ….
“The children love Tatty sessions and always ask new grown up visitors to our class if they have met her before. I think it’s great. They continue to write little notes for her and make things for her. Her birthday party was a big success.”

The corner stones of our in-education lessons are communication, personal, emotional, social and physical development. The Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum means schools can offer their pupils with a wealth of non-desk based learning through our in-education lessons. Our team work in primary schools providing PPA cover, Breakfast Clubs, After School Clubs and one off events like Healthy Eating Week.
Our curriculum was written with Educationalist Philip Davis. He partners with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority to enhance learning. It’s ground breaking work, the enhancement on creativity is much acclaimed.
“As for the movement sessions, I am extremely impressed with how the children are really listening to the music – they move quickly when the music is fast, move slowly when it is slow and they even stop when the music pauses for a while. Lion and going to the giggle tree really shows this well. National Curriculum learning objectives for PE are very well catered for. I am always keen to show visitors how our Tatty sessions work. Children’s sequencing of events has also improved and their story writing.”

Our classes are taught by our trained teachers who come equipped with mats, music, Fair Trade dolls and props. Our bendy doll, Tatty Bumpkin and her crew of animals bring the yoga-inspired movements to life like no adult can! The cotton animals and mats are made by an inspiring Fair Trade Women’s Co-operative in India, we’re proud to partner alongside these mothers who united through work after the Tsunami in 2004.
The music is all written and recorded in the UK.
“Mindfulness means gaining attention in a particular way; on purpose, in the present moment and non-judgementally” Jon Kabat-Zinn
We are united in our belief that through mindful practice children learn to pause, catch their breath and get a sense of what they need. We enrich our classes by nurturing an awareness of mindfulness. It’s a skill that we are born with but life too quickly drowns it out.
