our classes help children age 0-7 to be bendy, giggly, clever and strong:
bendy - develops flexibility through yoga
giggly - enhances creativity with multi-sensory stories and original music
clever - aids development with early years curriculum links
strong - promotes wellbeing and relaxation
Anna really cares about the development of the whole child through independent, creative provision and loves combining this into her Tatty Bumpkin sessions. She looks forward to welcoming you to one of her sessions!
Charlie feels passionately believes that practising yoga and mindfulness is such a powerful way of gaining a healthy mind and body in the busy world we live in and the importance of sharing this with children from a young age. She cannot wait to meet you!
"I like it when we lie down and you put ducks on your tummies and sometimes when it’s a really good adventure you might get something else on your tummy like a crab. It makes me feel relaxed and when the duck goes up and down on my tummy I feel like I’m on a rainbow. It’s good for children because it’s yoga that is calm and relaxing and like when you do bee pose it’s like you’re calmer. I like the start when you lie down and you breathe and count slowly too. It helps you to control your body and to tell stories and I just really like it".
Year 1 child, age 5
I wanted an activity where my daughter was encouraged to explore and have fun without having to be still and stay on my lap the entire class. It has really helped her develop her core strength and has made her bolder in her personality... Plus she just adores Tatty Bumpkin and all her animal friends!! We couldn't recommend this class enough - WE LOVE IT!
