The benefits of candle pose:
Strengthen abdominal muscles for good posture & balanced movement.
Extend calf muscles (tight calf muscles can cause tip-toe walking).
Respond to & work with others (wait for your friend to blow out your candle ‘flame’ before you bring your toes down).
Stretch out hamstring, increasing flexibility at knee & hip joints.
